ACCORD, through its Peacebuilding Unit and the African Peacebuilding Coordination Programme (APCP), conducted a 4-day workshop in Kinshasa, where it provided the space for local and national stakeholders in DRC to better understand the New Deal, as well as provide a strong avenue for discussing what are the relevant areas and approaches that need to be targeted in order to allow Congolese actors to appropriately implement the process. The aim of the seminar was to enhance awareness and implementation of the New Deal, Peabuilding and Statebuilding Goals and enhance stakeholders’ skills set approach in conflict analysis and monitoring and evaluation of the process.
