Zikho Dana holds a BA in Political and International Studies and African Language Studies, a Joint Honours Degree in Political and International Studies and African Language Studies. She recently obtained a Master of Arts degree in African Language Studies at Rhodes University, South Africa. This is where she worked as research assistant at the Political and International Studies Department where she assisted in the organizing and facilitating of the Colloquium themed: Women and 60 years of the Armed Struggle in South Africa, hosted by Rhodes University, Nelson Mandela University and The University of Cape Town. She is also a translator (isiXhosa and English). She has translated undergraduate course outlines for the Political and International Studies Department (2017-2022) from English to isiXhosa. Her research interests are African Feminism, International Relations, Translation and translanguaging work, rural women and economies, African Centred Peace Resolutions.
