Tamara J Kirkwood was a motivated and charismatic member of the ACCORD team. Tamara first joined ACCORD in late 2009 as a Special Projects Officer in the Knowledge Production Department. In October 2010, she was promoted to the Operations Division to take up the role as the Co-ordinator responsible for Monitoring, Evaluation and Systems. In this position, Tamara had a unique cross-cutting role in the institution. Amongst other things, her tasks focused on building the institution’s monitoring, evaluation, learning and communication framework and systems. Additionally, Tamara was also responsible for co-ordinating the ACCORD Internship Programme.
