Sunita joined ACCORD in April 2017 as an intern in the Peacebuilding Unit. Her duties consisted of assisting the Peacebuilding Unit fulfil its objectives of consolidating peacebuilding efforts on the African continent. She came to ACCORD as part of School for International Training (SIT) – an American-based study abroad program. She studied Political Science and Anthropology at Barnard College in New York City. Her research interests included gender in conflict and peacebuilding, and electoral violence.
