Sivuyile is a Programme Officer in the Programmes Department. He joined ACCORD in June 2024.
Sivuyile possesses a Masters Degree in Political and International Studies from Rhodes University. His dissertation evaluated the impact of liberal and hybrid approaches to peacebuilding in Sierra Leone after the 1991 – 2002 Civil War. He is an Andrew Mellon Scholarship recipient, holds a BA with Honours in Political and International Studies and a BA in Legal Theory and Political and International Studies (RU), with Distinction in Political and International Studies. Prior to joining ACCORD, Sivuyile worked as a programme officer for Afesis` Kagisano Programme, which sought to prevent collective violence and promote social cohesion in South Africa.
