Dr Remember Miamingi advises the Political Affairs, Peace and Security Department of the African Union on protecting civilians and child protection in conflict situations. Dr Miamingi holds an LLB law degree from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Osun State, Nigeria, and LLM and LLD law degrees from the University of Pretoria, Pretoria, South Africa.
