Owen Mangiza is a lecturer in the Department of History and International Studies at Midlands State University, Zimbabwe. He is also a PhD student in history at the University of Venda, South Africa. He holds a Master of Arts in African History. His research interests include ethnicity, electoral history, liberation war history, and has recently developed an interest on the history of pandemics and their impact on human activities.
