Nhial Gogok obtained a Master’s degree in Vocational Pedagogy from the Oslo and Akershus University College of Applied Sciences in Norway. He is currently a volunteer in the Centre for Democratic Governance, Policy Research and Parliamentary Studies in the Ministry of Cabinet Affairs in Juba, South Sudan. Gogok’s research interests include policy research issues related to democratic governance in various government sectors, forest resource management and community participation in development initiatives. In 2013, Gogok served a three-month internship at ACCORD in Durban, South Africa. During his stint, he contributed to the institution’s conflict analysis activities, focusing on Sudan and South Sudan.
