Dr Naila Salihu is Research Fellow and Deputy Programme Head at the Faculty of Academic Affairs and Research (FAAR) at the Kofi Annan International Peacekeeping Training Center (KAIPTC). She is also a faculty member and lecturer for postgraduate programmes at KAIPTC. She specialises in research on peacebuilding, democratic processes, defence and security-sector governance in Africa.
