Mawuli Kobla Asamani

Coordinator: Global Peace

Mawuli Kobla Asamani is the Coordinator of Campaign and Advocacy at the African Centre for the Constructive Resolution of Disputes and the Global Coordinator for Global Peace @ www.globalpeace.me, an initiative of ACCORD. Kobla’s works spans 100 plus countries in his daily coordination and has developed over 60 Global programmes for Global Peace. He has further undertaken the organisation of over 200 Global Peace Programmes across the world. These includes 106 Intergenerational Dialogues in 100 cities in 100 countries featuring over 2000 plus speakers, over 350,000 participants drawn from over 1500 Global Civil Society organizations, international organizations, Academia, Governments, industries, diplomatic corps, the general public amongst others. Kobla is a Development Consultant and a Peace Scholar with over 2 decades of distinguished service in public administration, the private sector, academia, civil society works and international affairs. Kobla is a graduate of the prestigious Accra Academy, and holds a BSC in Project Management from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration, an MSC in Strategic Management and Leadership from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology and an MA in International Affairs and Diplomacy from the University of Ghana. 

Kobla is also a graduate from the Dr. Martin Luther King Junior and SCLC Ben Ammin Institute for New Humanity in Dimona, Israel and intends to do his PHD in Global Security focusing on Africa. Kobla was also noted among the highest (Top 5%) in the cohort of highly skilled and very competitive X-Culture students in a business consulting project that involved over 5,140 MBA and business students from over 150 universities in 78 countries in six continents in 2021. Kobla has encountered high profile persons like Former UN Secretary General Kofi Annan, former Deputy UN Secretary Dr Asha-Rose Migiro, H. E. Jean Ping, former chair of the AU Commission UNSG Special Advisor, Prof Jeffery. Kobla has also worked in partnership with the UNICEF, WFP, UNFPA, FAO offices in Ghana, the Africa Union, UN75, JCI, CYC, WFUNA, AAU, ESU, MM, MPA etc. In 2001 & 2005, Kobla was presented with Bronze, Silver and Gold Awards respectively from the President of Ghana, H. E. John Agyekum Kufuor. He is a fellow of the World Youth Forum and the Nasser International Leadership Programme.
