Dr Marko Svicevic completed his BA(Law) majoring in Criminology, LLB and LLD (international law) degrees from the University of Pretoria. He was previously a doctoral candidate and research associate with the South African Research Chair in International Constitutional Law at the University of Pretoria. Dr Svicevic is currently a researcher with the Centre for International Humanitarian and Operational Law at the Faculty of Law in Palacký University, Czech Republic, where he is involved in both research and teaching on the use of force in international law. He is also a post-doctoral research fellow with the South African Research Chair in International Law at the University of Johannesburg.
