Marisha Ramdeen

Coordinator: Programmes

Marisha is presently the Senior Programme Officer within the Peacemaking Unit. Her primary role is to provide substantive and technical support to the programmes that are implemented by the Unit. She further guides and assists the Programme officer and Administrator with their tasks.

Marisha joined ACCORD in August 2010, first as a Special Project’s Officer with Business Development; Programme Officer within the Training Unit; Senior Programme Officer of the Interventions Department and thereafter Senior Programme Officer of the Peacemaking Unit. She has a Master’s Degree (MA) in Political Science from the University of KwaZulu-Natal (2010). Marisha comes from an academic background having spent 3 years at the Human Sciences Research Council (HSRC). She has co-authored articles with Professor John Daniel in conflict resolution and on an annual update of Swaziland.
