Laureline Monnier is a Global Fellow – Monitoring and Evaluation for the Heartland Alliance for Human Needs & Human Rights in Burundi. Ms Monnier undertook this research while completing her MA in peace and conflict research at the University of Uppsala’s Department of Peace and Conflict Research, Sweden. In addition to her MA, Ms Monnier holds a bachelor’s degree in social sciences from Utrecht University, the Netherlands.
