Kidest Dawit Ejigu was an intern in the Preventive Action and Mediation cluster as a component of her fellowship programme at the African Leadership Centre, King’s College, London. Kidest Dawit holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and International Relations from Addis Ababa University, where she later obtained a Master’s degree in Peace and Security Studies from the Institute for Peace and Security Studies (IPSS). Previously, Kidest has worked at the United Nation’s University for Peace (UPeace) Africa Programme as an Academic Officer and at African Artists Peace Initiative (AAPI) as a Policy Officer and researcher. Her area of interests spans indigenous conflict management and resolution, nation and state-building in Africa.
