Dr Kebede Yimam Tadesse is an assistant professor in the department of political science and international studies at the Bahir Dar University, Ethiopia. He received his BA in political science and international relations, MA in International Relations and PhD in political science from Addis Ababa University. His dissertation title is on Ethnic conflicts and their resolution mechanisms between Afar and Oromo in the north east Ethiopia. He has research interest in the areas of ethnic conflict, Afar politics in the horn of Africa, ethnic conflict resolution mechanisms.
