Prof Kealeboga J. Maphunye, is Professor of African Politics, UNISA, Department of Political Sciences. He was a Canon Collins scholar from 1998 to 2002. His current work as Research Professor at UNISA focuses on research, tuition and supervision, capacity building for electoral officials, and community engagement pertaining to election management in South Africa and continentally. Kealeboga regularly observes and conducts research on elections, governance and democracy in South Africa and across the continent.
