Jack Gasdia is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Conflict Resolution at Georgetown University in Washington, DC, where he is completing a Graduate Certificate in African Studies and writing a thesis entitled, “Peace Is Pro-Social Behavior: How Emotional Experiences of Conflict Explain Individual Peace Activity in Somalia.” He holds a Bachelor of Science in International Politics and is interested in social cohesion; youth, peace and security; and the intersection of peacebuilding and sustainable development. Jack is currently working as a Programmes Intern at the African Centre for the Constructive Resolution of Disputes (ACCORD).
