Evan is a former intern for the Preventative Action/Mediation Cluster at ACCORD. She graduated from Georgetown University in 2019 with a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service and specializations in international law, African Studies, and French. She is currently pursuing an M.A. in International Human Rights at the University of Denver’s Josef Korbel School of International Studies in Colorado, USA. As part of this program, Evan is spending a semester in exchange at the University of KwaZulu-Natal in Durban, South Africa, taking classes in law, development, and Kiswahili. Throughout her professional career, Evan has worked with different research teams and non-profit organizations on topics like conflict resolution, gender justice, and sustainable development.
