Dorcas Ettang

Dorcas Ettang joined ACCORD as a Programme Officer working in the Training for Peace and African Peacebuilding Coordination Programme in 2008. As of January 2011, Dorcas was promoted to the position of Analyst in the Peacebuilding Unit and was mainly tasked with providing support and advice to the Unit on political and security related issues in the field of peacebuilding and conflict management. Dorcas had the opportunity to present papers and publish work on a wide range of themes related to peace and security.

Dorcas had worked as a Research Assistant with the Kofi Annan International Peacekeeping and Training Centre (KAIPTC) in Accra, Ghana selected under the United Nations Association in Canada (UNAC) – Junior Professional Consultant Programme. She completed her undergraduate degree in Political Science and French at Bishops University in Quebec, Canada where she mastered the French language.
