Dr. Chika Charles Aniekwe is an international development expert with over 17 years of experience. He is currently the Senior Advisor and Head of Stabilization for the UNDP/LCBC Lake Chad Basin Regional Stabilization Strategy. Dr. Aniekwe holds a PhD and Masters’ degree in International Development from the University of Bradford and a Bachelor’s in Political Science from the Enugu State University of Science and Technology.
Dr. Aniekwe has worked with multilateral institutions, NGOs, and academic institutions such as the African Union Commission, the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), ActionAid, International Foundation for Electoral Systems, and the University of Bradford. His interests cut across democracy, governance, peacebuilding & elections. Dr. Aniekwe writes on African democracy, stabilization, elections, human rights, national dialogue, and security sector reforms.
