Dr Cecilia Lwiindi Nedziwe is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Political and International Relations at Rhodes University. At Rhodes University, she teaches an undergraduate course on African Gender Studies, and at Post graduate level two courses: Africa in the World, and The Politics of Migration and Identity. Her research interests centre around Southern Africa’s International relations, international and regional organisations, gender, civil society and peace-building. She is a co-author of the book Transnational Activities of Women-Focused Civil Society Actors in Southern Africa Cham: Palgrave Macmillan (2023).
