Candice Moore holds a PhD from the London School of Economics and Political Science, an MPhil from the University of Cambridge, and a cum laude BA Honours degree from the Rand Afrikaans University. Her research focuses on the foreign policies of emerging states, mainly South Africa and Brazil, as well as the development of IR theory in these two countries. Her PhD thesis deployed neoclassical Realism in an analysis of foreign policy under Lula and Mbeki, respectively. Dr Moore taught IPE at an Honours level and supervised Masters students in the broad area of South African Foreign Policy at the University of Johannesburg.
