Adam Randera

Adam joined ACCORD as an intern in August 2021 and has since become a Programme Officer in the Operations Division. He holds a Master of Philosophy in International Peace Studies from Trinity College Dublin, with a focus on African approaches to transitional justice. He also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy, Classical Studies, and Linguistics as well as a joint Honours degree in Philosophy and Linguistics and Applied Language Studies, both from Rhodes University.

Prior to joining ACCORD, Adam worked as a research and development consultant at the Molteno Institute for Language and Literacy where he coordinated the development of educational materials. Adam has a keen interest in transformative justice, gender and identity, and the building of grassroots capacities for peace.
