On 18 February 2016 the High Commissioner of the United Kingdom of Great Britain & Northern Ireland to South Africa, H.E. High Commissioner Judith Macgregor, visited ACCORD House along with the new United Kingdom Trade Commissioner based in South Africa, Ms Emma Wade-Smith.
The High Commissioner first visited ACCORD House in August 2014 and attended the 2014 Mahatma Gandhi International Award for Reconciliation and Peace, which was awarded to ACCORD. More recently the Executive Director attended the reception hosted by the High Commissioner in Cape Town on 10 February 2016 on the eve of the Opening of South Africa’s Parliament for 2016.
