On 10 October 2016, ACCORD Founder and Executive Director of ACCORD, Vasu Gounden, was invited by the Ambassador of Norway to South Africa, H.E. Ambassador Trine Skymoen, to attend a luncheon held in honour of the visiting Norwegian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, H.E. Minister Laila Bokhari. Minister Bokhari was in South Africa as part of a tour of several countries in Southern Africa.
This is the second meeting that the Executive Director has had with Minister Bokhari, having met with her when he visited Norway in September 2016.
Norway is one of ACCORD’s key donors.
