On 26 April 2022 Dr Vasu Gounden, the Founder and Executive Director of ACCORD, was invited to make a presentation at the monthly EU Political Councillors meeting, which was held at the Embassy of Denmark in Pretoria, South Africa. The Executive Director was requested to provide a short analysis on the economic and political impact of the floods in KwaZulu-Natal and the potential of xenophobic trends in South Africa.
The Executive Director has, and continues to provide briefings and updates to the donor community, both in person and virtually, on matters related to peace and security, both within South Africa and on the Continent.
