On 19 November 2024 the Founder and Executive Director of ACCORD, Dr Vasu Gounden, hosted the new Ambassador of Finland to South Africa, H.E. Ambassador Pekka Metso, at ACCORD house in Durban.
The meeting provided an opportunity for the Executive Director to share with the Ambassador ACCORD’s prognosis on the socio-political environment on the Continent, as well as the work of ACCORD.
ACCORD has had a long association with the Republic of Finland, who have also provided grant funding in the past.
