ACCORD’s TfP Programme will be conducting an in-mission Conflict Management for Peacekeepers Course for the United Nations Mission in Liberia (UNMIL) from 6-8 August. The training will be conducted for a group of thirty mid to senior-level managers within the mission, the UN Country Team, and representatives from the Liberian Government.
In addition to gaining a deeper understanding of conflict, the course will help participants harness their conflict management skills and methods such as communication, negotiation and mediation. It will also help participants to more appropriately utilize and apply their skills so as to become more effective and successful conflict mitigators.
ACCORD’s Executive Director of ACCORD Vasu Gounden will be facilitating the training together with the TfP Programme Advisor, Cedric de Coning.
