On 18 June 2017 ACCORD celebrated Mandela Day by assisting to renovate the new Community Hall built in Phoenix settlement, Durban. Together with the Gandhi Development Trust, ACCORD spent the morning restoring the Community Hall/Church surroundings by clearing rubble, planting flowers and vegetables as well as vanishing the windows and doors.
