In 2019, Louise Allen, a Global Gender, Peace and Security Consultant, was commissioned by UN Women to undertake an independent assessment of how the UN is implementing its UNSCR1325 commitments. Her report has just been published and shows 50% of areas are progressing and outlines 6 key areas the UN should focus on.
