On 12 April 2025 the Founder and Executive Director of ACCORD, Dr Vasu Gounden, attended a closed door experts meeting hosted by Humanitarian Dialogue (HD) in Dubai, UAE. The meeting was a Global South dialogue on Ukraine-Russia, which brought to together experts from China, India, South Africa, and Ukraine to look at the current stage of the negotiations and to discuss ways in which Global South countries could contribute to a sustainable resolution of the conflict.
