On 19 December 2024, H.E. Ambassador Liubov Abravitova, the Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of South Africa, Mozambique and Botswana, visited ACCORD House. It was the Ambassador’s first visit to ACCORD. The meeting provided the Founder and Executive Director of ACCORD, Dr Vasu Gounden, an opportunity to share with the Ambassador the work of ACCORD, its prognosis for peace and security on the Continent, as well as the socio-political environment in KwaZulu-Natal.
The Ambassador was accompanied by a representative from the Ukraine Association of South Africa who shared their work on the Ukraine Peace Formula and the African Peace Mission.
