On 15 October 2024, the Founder and Executive Director of ACCORD, Dr Vasu Gounden, met with Mr Didar Temenov, Director of the Department of Multilateral Cooperation at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Mr Arken Arystanov, Chairman of the Board of the Kazakhstan Agency for International Development in Astana, Kazakhstan. The purpose of the meeting was to facilitate a discussion on ACCORD’s approach to conflict resolution and peacebuilding across the African continent. Dr Gounden presented a comprehensive overview of ACCORD’s work, highlighting the Institution’s approach to addressing existing conflicts and forecasting potential future challenges. The meeting served as a platform for exchanging insights and fostering collaboration in the pursuit of sustainable peace and development on the Continent.
