On 10 October 2024 the Founder and Executive Director of ACCORD, Dr Vasu Gounden, met with the Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to South Africa, H.E. Ambassador Yerkin Akhinzhanov in Pretoria, South Africa. The meeting provided an opportunity for Dr Gounden to brief the Ambassador on the work of ACCORD. Dr Gounden will be attending the Astana Think Tanks Forum taking place on 16-17 October 2024 in Astana, Kazakhstan, where he will be a panellist in a session looking at Guiding International Peace: A call for Mediators.
