On 07 October 2024 Ms Abbie Collins, the Head of the Political Team, and Mr Shaun Edge, the Political Officer, from the High Commission of the United Kingdom in South Africa visited ACCORD House. It was Ms Collins first visit to ACCORD. The meeting provided an opportunity for the Founder and Executive Director of ACCORD, Dr Vasu Gounden, to share ACCORD’s prognosis for current and future challenges on the Continent, as well as the work of ACCORD. The meeting also included a discussion on the socio-political environment in the Province of KwaZulu-Natal, as well as South Africa’s Government of National Unity.
