Rehema Zaid Obuyi holds a BA in Peace and Conflict Studies. Recently acquired Executive Masters in Managing Peace and Security in Africa at the Institute for Peace and Security Studies (IPSS) Addis Ababa University. She works as the Chief Analyst and Strategist in PVE/CT at Integrated initiatives for Community Empowerment (IICEP) Kenya. A member of the Africa Nazarene University Education Department Industrial Advisory Board and a Special Advisor in Peace and Conflict Studies, she is a 2017 International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) Alumni and a credible voice in PVE. Additionally, she is an accredited member of the Fem Wise-Africa-African Union Commission (AU), a 2014 USIP Generation Change Fellow and 2020 Youth Advisory Council, and a 2019 Global Ties Social Change and Innovation IVLP Award Nominee.
