Dr Mathias Jarikre is a faculty member in the Department of Peace Studies and Conflict Resolution, National Open University of Nigeria. He holds a Ph.D. in Peace and Conflict Studies from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria. He is also an alumnus of the Summer Peacebuilding Institute of Eastern Mennonite University and Summer Institute (Teaching Peace in the 21st century) of Kroc Institute of International Peace Studies, University of Notre Dame, both in the United States of America. His research interest is in the area of peacebuilding.
