Michelle Mendi Muita is currently the Communications and Knowledge Management Specialist for the Regional Programme for Africa at the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). In this capacity, she is responsible for implementing the overall communications strategy and knowledge management processes for UNDP’s 30+ regional projects and initiatives in Africa. Prior to joining UNDP, Michelle was an Advisor for Communications and Research at Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), as part of a joint programme with the Institute for Peace and Security Studies in Ethiopia. Michelle holds an MA in International Public Management from Sciences Po Paris and a BA in International Affairs and Policy Studies from the City College of New York.
