On 25 January 2018 ACCORD’s Founder and Executive Director, Adv. Vasu Gounden, was invited to speak at the United Kingdom’s Head of Missions Conference Dinner in Pretoria, South Africa. Adv. Gounden spoke on the current political and socio-economic context in Africa and the potential move towards urban conflict on the continent. Adv. Gounden has previously addressed European Heads of Missions on the same topic, first to the Foreign Heads of Missions to South Africa at the Norwegian Embassy in March 2017 and later to the European Heads of Missions to the Southern African Development Community (SADC) region in October 2017 in Pretoria.
