CPPC Specialised/In Mission Courses

Conflict Management Courses

The Conflict Management for Peacekeepers and Peacebuilders Course evolved out of a combination of the TfP Programme’s specialised focus on peacekeeping with ACCORD’s specialised focus on conflict management. The course seeks to assist participants to develop a firm understanding of conflict; to harness their (awareness of) conflict management skills and methods; and just as important, to help them understand how and when they can most appropriately utilise and apply their skills so as to become more effective conflict mitigators. This will ultimately contribute to the on-going efforts by the UN, the AU and their various partners in peace and security to more successfully facilitate the transformation from conflict to durable peace.
