In March 2017 Dr Gounden attended a dinner hosted by Ms Lepenn in Pretoria in honour of Mr Eric Rosand, the Director of the Prevention Project at the Brookings Institution. Ms Chisholm has visited ACCORD on a number of occasions during her time as Consul General In Durban, more recently in March 2016 when she accompanied H.E. Ambassador Ruben Brigety, Dean of the Elliott School of International Affairs at George Washington University, when ACCORD partnered with the US Consulate in Durban for a discussion on the then upcoming elections in the USA.
